The ease by which Kanecaron fibers can be molded
to higher levels of softness, designability and color durability
that no conventional fiber could hope to achieve. Kanecaron fibers
are thermally molded, like plastics, which can also be extended to
combinations with other synthetic materials like polypropylene. Compared
to Protex-type fibers, Kanecaron fibers have a greater temperature
range at which the fiber starts softening and shrinking. And while
Kanecaron fibers can be spun and dyed like other products, tightly
controlled conditions and specialized production processes differentiate
Kanecaron fibers from the rest. Such attention to detail can have
a profound effect on yarn quality affected by too much tension. Kanecaron’s
moldability empowers end users to adapt the fiber solution to their
own specific needs.
